In 1979 he graduated from the Kharkiv Institute of Radio Electronics, Specialty “Automated control systems”.

Ph.D. – 1989.

Thesis defended 1989 at the Kharkiv Institute of Radio Electronics, Specialty “Automated control systems”.

Doctor of Sciences – 2005.

Thesis defended 2005 in Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics. Specialty 05.13.12 – Systems of Design Works Automation.

Professor of System Engineering – 2006.

1989 – Associate Professor,

2003 to present – Professor the Department of System Engineering in Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics.

Research activities

From 1982 to 2017 he was the executive or the head of the sections of research work, in particular: “Development of a complex of mathematical models of socio-economic development of the region taking into account the efficiency of the use of infrastructure and communal resources“, ”Development of principles, methodology of designing and creation of information-analytical system of decision-making support in the management of socio-economic development of the region“, “Development of theoretical bases of designing decision-support systems in the management of socio-economic development of the region”, “Development of mathematical models and methods of system structural topological synthesis of regional geographically distributed objects”, “Structural synthesis of geographically distributed objects in conditions of incomplete data certainty”, “Development of mathematical models and methods of reengineering of topological structures of geographically distributed objects”.

From 1996 to 2015 he was a scientific secretary, from 2015 – chairman of the specialized scientific council D 64.052.02 on defending doctoral and candidate dissertations at the Kharkov National University of Radio Electronics.

Areas of scientific activity: design and reengineering of large-scale objects; mathematical modelling; multicriteria estimation and decision making.
