On January 17, 2025, the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics hospitably opened its doors to future students. The Department of Systems Engineering traditionally joined the organization of the event and presented its educational opportunities. The department’s teachers actively communicated with applicants, answering their questions and introducing them to educational programs, including the well-known and proven bachelor’s program in Computer Science and Technology.
Of particular interest was the presentation of the new international English-language program Applied Computer Science, which opens up broad prospects for students in the field of modern information technologies. The educational program Applied Computer Science – Applied Computer Science – in the specialty F3 Computer Science is being created within the framework of the DAAD CoSMoS-NT project by the departments of Systems Engineering and Artificial Intelligence.
The CoSMoS-NT project is the creation of a new joint bachelor’s degree program by the Technical University of Applied Sciences Wildau (THWi) and the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics (NURE).
The new program will enroll students from Ukraine and Germany. The teaching will be carried out by teachers from the Faculty of Computer Science of NURE and the University of Wildau (Germany), which will ensure an international level of education and intercultural exchange.
