New equipment has appeared at the Department of Systems Engineering

New equipment has appeared at the Department of Systems Engineering, which was funded by the University. These are Oculus Quest 2 virtual reality glasses! The purchased equipment is compatible with the latest computers of the Digital Technology Laboratory, created at the department at the expense of the European Union under the Erasmus + dComFra project.

The new VR glasses are planned to be used in the educational process, where as part of the Computer Science and Technology educational program, bachelors study the disciplines “Design and Development of Game Applications”, “Graphic Modeling and Animation”, “Virtual and Augmented Reality Technologies”. With the help of new VR glasses, it is planned to expand the capacity of the Digital Technology Laboratory to teach new digital competencies under the Erasmus + dComFra. project (give a hyperlink to the dComFra project here). New equipment can be used to create video simulators, modern computer games, design systems and training modules.

Employees of the Department of Systems Engineering have already begun to learn the virtual reality glasses.
